Mission Statement:
The Cedarville Learning Center firmly believes that “it takes an entire village to raise a child.” This conviction drives us to fulfill the childcare needs of our community by providing developmentally appropriate programs that are focused on the children, parents, and family. We provide a well-supervised, loving and secure environment that encourages parental involvement. Our center places emphasis on learning through play to meet the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional needs of the children.
Center Goals:
In accordance with our mission statement and our commitment to the early childhood education field, we will to the best of our ability strive to achieve the following:
- Provide care and education based on the needs of each individual child.
- Design our programs based on current knowledge and research of child development.
- Serve as an advocate for children and their families.
- Work with the community and society on the continual education of our youth.
- Operate our center based on the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and ODJFS licensing rules.
Philosophy of Management:
Our philosophy is to run CLC based on current knowledge and to make changes when it is necessary or required for the overall betterment of the organization. We are 100% invested in our program and are ultimately responsible for all operations. We want the employees to be dedicated, ethical professionals who understand their value and their role in the organization. Our success is ultimately gauged upon the overall satisfaction of the parents and their children’s continual development. We also strive for the establishment of a fulfilling work environment for the employees.
Children are our world, they are our future. Remember we were once children. That is why in today’s world it is so important to use knowledge from the past and educate for the future. We cannot think of any facet of our lives that is more important than early childhood education. It is a well documented fact to how much children learn in the early years of their lives.
